No, Horizon never requests, stores, or transmits your Google passwords or credentials. The switcher uses Google's standard multi-login URL routing structure (such as /u/0, /u/1, etc.) to launch apps directly in your chosen profile. All detection and profile labels operate 100% locally on your computer.
Horizon supports six leading search engines: Google, Brave Search, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Qwant, and Yahoo. You can switch between them with one click or keyboard shortcut. For private search without tracking, selecting Brave Search or DuckDuckGo sends your search queries straight to their privacy-respecting endpoints.
In Chrome 138+, Google introduced a native browser footer on new tab pages. You can hide it permanently in one click: simply right-click anywhere on that bottom bar and select "Hide footer on New Tab page". Horizon also includes an interactive step-by-step guide you can access anytime from the Customize panel.
Yes! Horizon includes a curated collection of ultra-high-resolution nature wallpapers, solid minimal colors, and gradients. You can also upload any image from your computer, which will be safely stored in your browser's local storage. Horizon supports both Dark Obsidian and Light Frost themes, or can automatically sync with your system appearance.
Horizon is engineered for all modern Chromium-based browsers, including Google Chrome, Brave, Microsoft Edge, Opera, and Vivaldi. Features automatically adapt to your browser environment—for example, voice dictation detects Brave and optimizes search accordingly.
